We help to provide Routine Obstetric Ultrasound Urgent scan appointments for Early pregnancy, Routine growth and Reassurance scans in all stages of pregnancy when the NHS is under unprecedented pressure addressing COVID-19. All our scans are performed mainly for Fetal Growth and Reassurance which is a MEDICAL NEED which is the sole purpose of all our scan packages for our pregnant mothers.
We provide an essential Medical service for the reassurance of expectant mothers which is time-sensitive. We will remain open until we are required by the Government / CQC guidelines or instructions to stop providing this service.
If you or your loved ones have a high fever or new continuous cough. We advise you not to attend our scan centre if you or your family are at high risk of developing or passing the virus on.
Our team have taken new measures to decrease the risk of the spread of the virus. We kindly ask you to follow these procedures to keep yourself and our staff safe.
- Please try to avoid bringing in children and elderly people to your appointment
- Only the pregnant individual and one adult guest will be allowed to attend for the safety and care for other service users and our staff.
- Arrive no earlier than 10minutes before your scan
- Any deposits paid will not be lost and appointments can be rescheduled
Based on the available evidence, the COVID-19 virus is transmitted between people through close contact & droplets and not by airborne transmission.. (Source – World Health Organisation - March 2020)
The Royal College of Midwives has stated it is important that all pregnant women ‘should keep antenatal appointments’ and are "essential to ensure the wellbeing of pregnant women and their babies".
We are monitoring the current situation really closely on a Day to Day basis. At the moment, we’re operating the clinic as usual and look forward to seeing you for your next appointment despite the daily changes.
We thank you for your understanding at this time,
